• For common pain (headaches, muscle aches...) and fever: PARACETAMOL 1G 1 to 4 tablets per day (=Dafalgan, Doliprane, Efferalgan, they're all the same).
• For inflammatory pain: sore throat, tendinitis: IBUPROFEN 400 MG: 1 to 3 tablets per day (=Advil 400 mg).
• Mild diarrhea (without fever, without blood or mucus in stools): IMODIUM 2 mg or TIORFAN + 1 rehydration solution, to replenish salt, sugar, minerals, ADIARIL or others (alhydrate, GES 25, etc.) 5 sachets in 1 liter of water.
• Vomiting: VOGALENE 7.5 mg LYOC.
• Stomach pain, cramps: SPASFON LYOC 160 mg.
• Infections: 2 antibiotics: AUGMENTIN 500 MG 2 tablets morning and evening if sore throat, bronchitis, infected wound; CIFLOX 500 mg 1 tablet morning and evening if severe diarrhea (with fever, and/or blood and/or abundant mucus in stools, and/or lasting more than 3 days) or if urinary tract infection with fever or in men.
• Cystitis in women: MONURIL (single dose, convenient, provided there is no fever; otherwise, CIFLOX for 10 days).
• Wounds: HEXOMEDINE (or povidone-iodine), gauze pads, adhesive tape, non-adhesive dressing, scissors. Aqueous EOSINE can help with blisters.
• Splinter tweezers.
• For dry climates (desert), physiomer nasal spray against dryness, eye wash product useful if sand wind: DACUDOSE, 5 ML SACHETS OF SALINE SOLUTION, DACRYSERUM...
• For water: AQUATABS rather than Micropur—it works faster (30 minutes) and is more comprehensive.

Of course, something will always be missing... but with experience, this small list allows you to handle most of the most frequent ailments.
